alright. since the school term's coming to an end, the chapter of my j1 life's officially closing ):
so i shall blog abt my tj life this yr, for memories sake :D

truthfully, i never once saw tj as my future in sec sch.
i think the main reasons were :
1) i detested the uniform colour. thr were alot of negative comments abt our uniform,
like "bird shit droppings" & "sewage" LOL.
2) many ppl told me tj is a very cheena school.
haha.

entered tj for pae because many of my ahs friends were coming here. & since i've got a direct bus, i thought why not?
(my BIG AHS FAMILY!)

loved the orientation mass dance @ suntec :D esp speedy!

was posted to 19/08, which i felt (& still feel) was a great class,although we're not the most bonded batch.

those were the days of siaolangclub, when the most retarded cheers were created
"hey nineteen, we love the canteen, we use pantene and we look damn clean!" ^_^
jeff would go "baik baik baik baik" during lesssons everyday, i think even the tchers who thought we're amusing at first eventually got annoyed. haha.
slc members would meet online everyday. missy g & i were addicted to a game we created, called "beehoon says".
fongfong & jeff created some crazy posters for slc, & omg the JAWS one was hilarious.i still have it! ^_^
& of course, our kbox outing!
anddd tracy! my gossip partner, who always oogled at cute guys ;D she even wanted to laminate the letter somebody wrote to me.hahaha. okay i miss tht girl.
oh. and valentine's was cool, cos i received a couple of surprises teehee.

thn we got back our o lvl results, which was pretty disappointing to me. yet i've got to be thankful cos i actu fared better than some others who worked much, much harder than i did.
so i officially entered tjc! :D & i don't think i've ever regretted my decision :D
02 coincided with my bday roar :( it was one my saddest bdays cos my bestest friends weren't around with me. haha. but come to think of it, it was still pretty fine cos i had my treats & presents!

then.then.then. i made new friends aft jae, & got to know hweeli, yingkai & xingyin better.

you may not be able to tell, but they're really cool & funny people! :D
take hweeli for instance. she loves to naagggg at me hohoho. nag at me for eating too slowly/walking to classes too slowly etc. even when she's not with me, she sends me sms-es like "mengjit!it's time to go to class! :)" she's naggy in an adorable way hehe.
yingkai shares the same weird humour as me. we laugh at things that other people may not think is very funny :D & she strongly believes tht messy hair is an art lol.
xingyin says the most random things at the most random times to crack people up.
& how can i forget victor right! my pri sch friend & ever loyal clique member. hohoho.

tis the season of pee-dubbing.

i was planning to update about many things, but somehow i can't seem to recall them now.
there's one thing my entire pw grp agreed to blog abt though : a nasty old pms woman we met at mp library on sat.

we were sitting very quietly at one corner of the library, when she suddenly came up to us and accused us of being inconsiderate teenagers doing pw. & while we were packing up to leave that place, she continued glaring at us as though we owed her a living. we were so irritated by her tht she remained our hot topic for the next 30 min. i bet she's a spinster.
then minghui went to the toilet halfway during our meeting, and came out exclaiming "wah the toilet smelly until wanna die!" HAHAHA.

tday met up at guowei's house. i'm addicted to his iphone - i'm da bomb champion yo. (:

tht's generalisation, but i'm disgusted so i don't care.
i swear a chain of profanities were screaming in my head at the damned void deck just now.
i wished there was somebody who took the same route home as me.

anyway, travelled down to NUS ytd to attend a talk on 'reflections on the world economy'. strangely enough, i always seem to be attending additional economics talks/lectures, even though they really bore me out. hahaha.

on the bus! :

this was the lecture hall whr the talk took place. i knw the photo's kinda grainy, but tht's the best a 3.2 megapix cam can give :) haha. oh. so while the hwachong guy took out his laptop, & the anderson peeps behind us copiously made notes, yingkai & i dozed off. while hweeli & xingyin made a commendable effort to stay awake ^_^ hahaha. this was supposed to be a photo of the 4 of us! but somehow only i got captured. hehe.

headed to sumo house for dinner aft tht. the jap food thr is unbelievably cheappp.

i still find it very difficult to accept tht i failed my bio by 0.5 marks. argh. but dont worry, i wont let an eraser decide my future :D i was just bored from lessons haha.

i've been watching 1 litre of tears the past few nights, & i cry at almost every episode can. lol. but the show's really really really (lack of vocab haha) nice. victor and i were also discussing about America's got talent during math lect just now. we actually watch the show for the lousy acts instead of the good ones. hahaha the show rocks must watch!

promos just came and went like that. TIME REALLY REALLY FLIES. i was overjoyed when math paper ended ytd! went to tm to eat & shop, came home and slept like a log. unfortunately, my happiness really seems to be short lived. tht's because after promos comes the next big thing-PW D:

had a couple of great online chats with people i've not seen/heard in a long time last night. i miss you guys sooo much! we'll meet-up during the hols okayy :D talking about online chats, xingyin & i are discussing abt despo guys right now. the kind of guys who wont ever stop sweet talking & bugging you. "hey im busy but im willing to rush over to your hse just for you" haha no thanks.

okay had pw today. pw kind of spells screw, but we'll pull through tgt. webcam-ed with minghui's laptop when we got bored. somehow her camera really loves me, cos it kept zooming into my face hahaha.
we decided my face wasn't interesting enough, so we painted random objects.

#1. yingkai & i needed some paper to do our math, so we asked one of the library staff for rough paper. when she handed us a whole stack of it, she commented that "这些都是费的".but guess what. when we flipped the papers over, we went like OMG! in excitement. haha cos those supposedly 'useless' stuff turned out to be : 1) econs 2007 promo paper with answers 2) chem bonding notes 3) gas law summary. LOL where got useless please. can you imagine her throwing all these papers away?! then hanting also wanted to try his luck, but got geog notes instead -.- haha.
#2.a conv btwn yk and i.

hello! shall update very briefly.

#1. junhan shouted 'mengjit!nice hair!' damn loudly from the 2nd lvl cos he knew i just cut my hair. then some ppl turned to look at my hair! ahaha.omg so paiseh can.
#2. contact time rocked! the acapella(hope i spelt correctly hehe) grp sang rly well :D & ryan's beat-boxing is zomg brilliant! he nv fails to amaze me okay! vocal percussionist. coolio.
#3. napfa 5 stations. i got A for shuttle run, with a timing of 10.9 sec. :D & i broke my personal record for inclined pull-ups! i've nv done so many in my entire life. i can't believe it LOL. the rest were mainly Ds i think. i can't do sit&reach for nuts sake. haha.
#4. attire check. i've found a way to make my skirt look longer & escape punishment. ^^ hehe.
#5. napfa 2.4km! was supposed to run with adeline. but we lost each other at the first round haha. our positions were quite close though. she got 25 i got 29, out of more than 100 girls i think. missed that A by a few sec ): ohwells. i think i did my best alr.

math e-learning is so horribly annoying!
the narrative voices speak bloody slowww (plus monotonous),
such that the lecture slides proceed at such a pathetic snail's pace.
the worst thing is,
if you forgot to save the slide,
or answer a question wrongly,
the entire lecture repeats ALL OVER AGAIN!
obviously i got my answers wrong a gazillion times,
so can you imagine my frustration! :@
& now i cannot open the math lect slides!

i always thought the snrs were exaggerating when they claimed to have sacrificed hours of sleep to meet their pw deadlines & stuff like that.
now i realise they're actually not.
we walked & walked ard spore, hunting for tee-shirt printing companies, from noon all the way till the sky turned dark.
i was literally dragging my poor & tired feet at the end of the day.

e-learning's pretty cool! i actully finished today's chem assignments in less than 30 minutes. haha. && there's narrative voices in the econs lect slides to guide us along! the voice sounds damn familiar though. i'm trying to figure out which econs tcher that voice belongs to tee-hee :D

the only thing is, i can't fix my eyeballz to the matrix website. i'll start exploring all the other more interesting web pages, and at the end of the day, i'll prolly find myself not accomplishing much. uh-oh :O. how typical of me.

oh, and i just went to check on my PW survey responses. apparently, the majority do not abuse animals. oh man this is not the results my grp wants.

omg. i don't think i've laughed so hard for the past half a year. today's meet-up was pure insanity. every damned thing ard us just seemed so freakin funny, we practically laughed the whole night away hahahaha. i bet thr's screws loose in our heads. or maybe we just found the perfect opportunity to de-stress from the daily crap in our lives.

I've just got two teeth extracted, and thank god there was zilch pain. yeah, like nada nada nay. (: oh and due to the injection which numbed my gum & tongue (o.O), i'm left with distorted lips and a pathetic slurred speech. okay hopefully after some rest, i'll be able to speak and eat properly again!

truthfully, it was a rather easy paper.

shopping today with chongz my super date whoots!
how can one not go out and shop when it's the GSS! haha.
i bought so many clothes & accessories,
the sense of satisfation is super :) :) :)

besides shopping, we checked out the national library.
haha the place is so huge, there are completely no books at the first 6 levels!
when we finally reached the 7th storey, eager to enter the library,
the security guard kept looking at our shopping bags suspiciously.
then he requested to check our bags luh.
excuse me sir. we've not even gone inside the library, steal what steal.
we were so pek chek we walked away hahaha.

wanted to go little india after that baha.
but chongz and i decided to take a little adventure, and explore a route we've not walked before :)
ended up at suntec city.

it's been a crazy weekend, with me rushing from place to place.
saturday
there was 4L bbq at junhao's place!
got to meet some people i've not seen in a long time.

it's been such a long day. i'm really drained :/

well, we had our first (& prolly last) percussion outing :D
agreed to meet lynette at 930am at tanah merah before heading to dhobyghaut tgt.
as usual, girls are always late! haha.
so by the time i reached tanah merah, it was alr slightly past 10am.
and jitrui happened to take mrt from there too, so the 3 of us boarded the same train.

met percs at dhobyghaut, then we headed to vivocity :)

MARDI GRAS was quite a happening night i guess.
there were so many performances going on at the same time, it's rather cool!
i was going about everywhere the sch compounds with van, missyg & shello aft perc ensemble to support my friends at various events :)
and most people looked really pretty/shuai in their home clothes haha.
but mardi gras marks the last performance with my perc seniors,
and i'll miss them :(

CO concert - went to support yingkai!
xingyin & i bought her a huge balloon, so we encountered difficulties squeezing into the mrt train
during peak hour hahaha.
but anyway the concert's good, although i don't really know how to appreciate chinese music. lol.
the solo-ists are damn pro and the percussionists actions are so exaggerated, which actually is very good showmanship ahah.

i suddenly felt like playing the piano today,
but behold!
when i lifted the piano lid,
i witnessed dead bugs lying between the keys! :X
what a repulsive sight.
this also goes to show how long it's been since i played a proper piece on the piano.
it's been around 4 years i think.

went to town on vesak day :D
shopped at orchard & bugis. walked for so long that i've got huge blisters on my feet now boo-boo.
i bought stuff from hula&co, Mphosis, blossomz & bugis street.
one of my buys included an elmo tee-shirt! haha.

reached sch at 830am on the 10th may to practise for stage band.
there were quite a few last minute changes & break downs during the skit,
so i was rather worried for the stage band.
but thankfully everything fell in place nicely during the concert (:

had section lunch! when we returned to the bandrm aft lunch,
everyone started giving out goodluck presents and all.
it was never a tradition in ahband to distribute gifts during concerts,
so i felt kinda bad accepting gifts but not giving any in return :/ LOL.
i'll give the next prelude!
j1 percs bought j2 percs presents though.
we gave them super random stuffs like playdough & yoyos. hahaha.
it's for them to reminisce their sweet childhood days :D

during the interval van & i went to look for familiar faces. thank you for the flowers & gifts. i especially love the sunflowers! don't you think bright colours totally make your day ?

aft the interval it was stage band, which was a huge success. the audience were great, breaking into laugher at almost every scene. perc ensemble was even better! i played on my beloved mallets (: kok jian rocks with the way he totally wow-ed the audience ^^

overall, prelude 28 was a wonderfully memorable night. i enjoyed myself!

bath time at the sports complex! i love bathing at that place. perhaps i was feeling hot and sticky, but water from the shower never felt so refreshing ha. van & i were chitchatting while in the shower, we took forever to bathe :D

slept at the music studio with percs! i didn't really sleep actually, because the ground was so hard and uncomfortable.
woke up on sunday morning looking like a zombie :/ couldn't help but fall asleep many times during band prac.

stayed back to do props & learn the dance for stage band.
so funny la. we were told by the I/Cs to go outside sch to search for cardboard for prop-making.
so van & i pushed this huge trolley we found outside the bandrm all the way out of sch to collect cardboard hahaha, with 3 bodyguards following us ahah.
now i know the woes of a garung guni man.
it's so difficult to get stuff like cardboard.

then during our free time we sat at the rostrum watching the councillors run ard the track.
poor guys. i heard that they have to run 34 rounds because they're the 34th student council o.O anw i think that gazing at the stars at night is such a romantic thing to do. no link. lol.

thr was band again tday morning.
aft tht i rushed to marine parade library once again to meet my pw mates for gpp. haha.

i was in the doldrums yesterday.

hello everybody i'm backkk.

i'm currently a very worn-out girl :(

all i want now is my beauty sleeeeeep but my hair is wet!

my week's been lousy.

but i shall only blog abt the good things.

on thurs smth hilarious happened.

i shall name this incident 'the waffle episode'. haha.

it's a grandmother's story so i shant elaborate,

but it's seriously so funny tht i almost choked on my food. LOL.

now everybody has seen victor's true colours hoho.

on wed during civics we were supposed to get our closest friends to describe our public self.

aft band the 4 of us waited for the climbers for dinner.

i love dinners with ahs friends (:

we are so understanding of one another's problems.

a pity i can't dine with them for many fridays to come. zz.

okay. today.

i had to wake up by 630am bc thrs band in the morning.

when band ended at 1pm, i had to rush off to marine parade library to do PW GPP!

i seriously never ever imagined tht pw would be so time-consuming and exhausting.

after approx 9 hours, we completed our gpp draft #1.

although i'm very tired, i had fun with my grp members tday.

i think tht pw bonds people tgt. (:

okay. i think my hair is kinda dry alr.

time to sleep.

i met a freak along the bridge, he's like in his early 20s.
for every few steps he took,
he turned around to look at me.
& this is like my 2nd encounter with him. i'm so bloody annoyed la.
so annoyed i have to blog about it.
like wtf do you keep on staring at me.
and then, at the end of the bridge,
he smiled at me. ok not tt kind of freaky smile, but friendly smile.
but still. argh!
now i can't even walk home alone in peace D:

it's been eons since i last checked my email.

i'm feeling tonnes better than ytd (:
i had sorethroat + a huge ulcer on my tongue.
my voice was so masculine i freaked myself out! hahaa.
so i wenta sleep at 930pm and hibernated for 12 hrs,
& now i'm fine alr!

alot of things have been happening,
but i'm lazy to type out everything.
been camwhoring too! i'm still considering whether to post the less un-glam pics la hahaha.

i'm uber shagged.
jc life is hectic, & i'm still in the midst of adapting to my new lifestyle.
i've got band on tues, wed, thurs, fri & sat :/
i decided i couldnt cope with 2 pdps, so i quit eclub ytd.
tchers are also overloading us with assignments,
i tink i'm gna get crushed flat by the piles of hmk.
ok i'm not complaining,
just stating matter-of-factly.
& my senior is really nice, offered to tutor me!
thankyouuuuu :D but i can still cope!

went back to ahs to collect my o lvl cert w leonard & junhan
looks pretty because i've got straight As.
but my L1R5 is a boo-hoo-hoo.

played some love game with band peeps today, which is supposed to tell you the condition of yr relationship with somebody.
van says it's 80% accurate, and tt i shud give him a chance.
HAHAHA. i disagree with van! it's such a silly game.
but at least it made grace's day (:

i must blog today because today is GOOD FRIDAY and good fridays are really really really special days! :D

well, i went to city harvest church service @ th expo tday.
the performance was awesome + somewhat touching. made me tear. haha.
& it's amazing seeing how strong the faith of christians are.
that's the power of His love. praise the lord :D

plus it was great seeing tingting, yingying & elaine aft sooooo long.
